Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina at the 10th National Conference on European Territorial Cooperation Programmes

Representatives of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina attended the 10th National Conference on European Territorial Cooperation Programmes, held on 23 September in Novi Sad and organised by the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia.

The jubilee 10th edition of the conference brought together representatives of institutions from Serbia and the region, the European Commission, international organisations, and beneficiaries of territorial cooperation programmes, with the aim of exchanging experiences and presenting the opportunities that European programmes offer for regional development and cooperation.

The conference presented current European territorial cooperation programmes in which the Republic of Serbia participates, as well as examples of successfully implemented projects. Particular attention was given to cross-border cooperation, new opportunities for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the Interreg Euro-MED, Interact, ESPON, Interreg Europe and URBACT programmes.

An important part of the conference was the presentation of beneficiaries’ experiences through successful projects, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in developing new initiatives and supporting local and regional development.

For the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina, participation in events of this kind provides an opportunity to follow new opportunities for European cooperation, exchange experiences with partners from the region, and learn more about programmes that can contribute to the implementation of future projects in the fields of tourism and sustainable destination development.

The conference was held at the Master Congress Centre of the Novi Sad Fair, with the participation of representatives from Serbia, the European Commission and partner countries.
