The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina participated at the 12th Tourism Forum, which was held this year in Vrnjačka Banja, from 26 to 28 September. On September 27, on World Tourism Day, the Forum gathered a large number of tourism organizations from all over Serbia. At the opening ceremony, the opening speech was given by Marija Labović, Director of the Tourism Organization of Serbia. Boban Đurović, President of the Municipality of Vrnjačka Banja, addressed those present, while Luis Araujo, President of the European Travel Commission and president of NTO Portugal, also addressed the audience via video message. Participants had the opportunity to follow lectures on various topics: “Trends after the SARS-COV2 virus pandemic in the tourism industry and the response of tourist destinations to the resulting changes: the success story of Petra, Jordan” – lecturer Majed Al Hasanat, Director of Petra Jordan; “Management of the project preparation process at the local, regional and national level, examples and project ideas” – lecturer Jelena Vidović, Project Director of the business support center BSC Kranj, Slovenia; and “The importance of integral planning of tourism development at the level of destinations: development program, plan of promotional activities” – lecturer Renata Pindžo, Communications Director of the Foreign Investors Council in Serbia (FIC). Participants and guests of the forum, together with a large number of media, visited the significant points of interest of the most visited tourist destination in Serbia – Vrnjačka Banja.
