The Vojvodina Lunch is a folk brand, a meal that has an almost ritual status among the inhabitants of Vojvodina. Even today, when due to the pace of life, family members cannot often gather for lunch during the work week, the cult of Sunday lunch is still extremely strong. The Vojvodina table abounds in traditional delicacies, unforgettable, full of taste. Lunch is plentiful and caloric, it is prepared with the intention of giving strength, but also to be a pleasure for all the senses. Authentic folk dishes, such as bread with fat spread and sprinkled with ground paprika and salt, are accompanied by simple but delicious dried meat products, which the inhabitants of Vojvodina, as well as tourists, can hardly resist. Poultry and beef soups and vegetable soups are added to these specific appetizers. There were almost no farms without pigeons, so a specialty of Vojvodina is pigeon soup. The most popular meats are pork, poultry and beef but often also fish and game specialties.

In the previous period, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism and the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, an exclusive printed edition of the Vojvodina Lunch cookbook was created, which takes us through farms, csardas, restaurants that offer traditional Vojvodina food. In the mentioned edition of the cookbook, there are numerous authentic recipes of traditional Vojvodina specialties. As part of the Vojvodina Lunch campaign, the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina launched a digital campaign on social networks, the Facebook page of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina and the Instagram account of vojvodina.travel. Through this campaign, the followers have the opportunity to get acquainted with the recipes of authentic Vojvodina specialties and enjoy the clips presenting the Vojvodina gastronomy in an inspiring and attractive way. In the next period, the website on the Vojvodina lunch will be created with a database of catering facilities (farms, csardas, restaurants, wineries) in the area of the AP Vojvodina which offer traditional Vojvodina dishes.
