THE 20 YEAR ANIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE TOURISM ORGANIZATION OF VOJVODINA AND OF THE AP VOJVODINA GUARANTEE FUND

Under the slogan “20 YEARS OF GUARANTEED SUCCESS”, the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina and the Guarantee Fund of AP Vojvodina marked two decades of successful operation. The event was held on 12 October at the Master Congress Center in Novi Sad with the presence of numerous guests. This significant anniversary was an opportunity to highlight the achievements, express gratitude to partners and institutions, and to announce further steps in improving the tourism sector of the Province.

The guests were addressed by the President of the Provincial Government Igor Mirović, the Director of the Guarantee Fund of AP Vojvodina Đorđe Raković, and the Director of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina Nataša Pavlović PhD. At the event, a promo film of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina was premiered, showing the tourism products of the Province in an inspiring and attractive way. The event was completed by the promotion of premium wines from AP Vojvodina. The guests had the opportunity to enjoy gastronomic specialties with a musical performances to mark the occasion.

These 20 years were full of challenges and changes. We have been persistently adapting to dynamic changes in the tourism industry, used new technologies and improved our skills in order to provide the best possible support to tourism in Vojvodina. Our passion for this region and our desire to show it to the world has been our driving force. Today, Vojvodina is an attractive tourist destination on the wider tourist market, as evidenced by official statistics. When we started our journey exactly 20 years ago, that is in 2003, the number of tourist arrivals was 245,614, and the number of overnight stays was 686,161, while last year, 2022, there were 687,849 arrivals and 1,942,314 overnight stays.
