Working Visit to the Tourism Organisation of Vršac

Representatives of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina visited Vršac on August 20, 2026. As part of their working visit, they had the opportunity to learn more about the city’s rich tourism offer and exchange experiences.

During the visit, Milivoj Kovačević, Acting Director of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina, and Aleksandar Daskalov, Director of the Tourism Organisation of Vršac, discussed the current state of Vršac’s tourism offer, the city’s development potential, as well as opportunities for improving tourism products and strengthening joint promotional activities.

Following the working meeting, a tour of Vršac’s most important tourist attractions was organized, beginning with a visit to the City Swimming Pool and the lake. The tour continued with visits to the “Na Stepenicama” Pharmacy, the Parish Church of St. Gerhard, and the City Museum. In Gudurica, a village known for its family-owned wineries, they had the opportunity to visit Orlić Winery. The visit concluded with a tour of the Church of the Holy Cross and the unmissable Vršac Tower.

Vršac is a city rich in history, cultural heritage, wine, and natural beauty, and visits of this kind represent an important aspect of cooperation between the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina and local partners.
