”Pandurević” Distillery: Rakija Promotion and Tasting

The ”Pandurević” Distillery from Pačir was presented at the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina Information Centre. Representatives of the media were addressed by Željka Lopušina, Director of the Tourism Organisation of Bačka Topola, and Stojan Pandurević, owner of the distillery, accompanied by Sales Manager, Ivana Simendić.

Željka Lopušina was the first to address the media representatives, emphasising the importance of rakija producers being part of the tourism offer of the Municipality of Bačka Topola. “It is important to us that local products, specifically rakija from the ”Pandurević” Distillery, are available at our souvenir shop. The ”Pandurević” Distillery is part of the rich tourism offer of our municipality, and in cooperation with the distillery, visitors can arrange a visit and a tour. This is the best way to discover the tradition of rakija and the process behind its production,” said Željka.

“The Pandurević family distillery is located in the village of Pačir, within the Municipality of Bačka Topola. The focus is on high-quality, natural rakija, produced exclusively from carefully selected fruit grown in the family’s own orchards, following a process that combines traditional methods with modern technology,” said Sales Manager Ivana Simendić.

Stojan Pandurević, owner of the ”Pandurević” Distillery, added that rakija is a drink for people with discerning taste and represents a combination of tradition and quality. He noted that the range includes Pačir Plum (Šljiva), Apricot (Kajsija), Quince (Dunja) and Pačir Williams Pear rakija (Vilijamovka). The distillery’s style is reflected in its traditional double distillation in a copper still. The rakija is then aged for at least one year in an internal vessel.
