On July 14, 2026, the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina Info Centre hosted the official presentation of the Third Kovin Regatta, attended by numerous media representatives. The event officially announced the upcoming Kovin Regatta 2026.
The audience was first addressed by Milivoj Kovačević, Acting Director of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, who emphasized the importance of this event for the development of nautical tourism. He also highlighted the role of the Kovin Regatta in promoting the region’s tourism offer and underlined the significance of preserving its cultural and natural heritage.
Following his address, representatives of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Kovin, Acting Director Miodrag Zlatanović and Divna Kirilov, presented a brief overview of the regatta and its organization. They stressed that the Kovin Regatta symbolizes unity, teamwork, and the enduring connection between people, the rivers, and nature.
The Regatta Commander, Vasa Bugarski, presented the technical aspects of the event and reminded attendees that the Danube and Tisa rivers represent valuable natural resources and significant potential for the further development of nautical tourism.
Kovin Regatta 2026, taking place over 13 days, from July 27 to August 8, is an important tourism event that connects several municipalities while promoting nautical tourism and showcasing the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region.
