In Kaštel Ečka, on May 14, a conference was held as part of the project “Cultural Diplomacy – Cultural Tourism and Strengthening Ties with Home Countries,” organized by the Slovak KTI Center, with the support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue.
The conference brought together representatives of institutions, organizations, and experts in the fields of culture and tourism, with the aim of opening a dialogue on the importance of cultural diplomacy and the role of tourism in connecting people, preserving the identity of national communities, and promoting cultural heritage.
The Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina was represented by acting director Milivoj Kovačević, who emphasized that the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina is recognized as a multicultural environment, a space of diversity, unity, and mutual respect, and that these values represent an important foundation of its tourism offer.
During the conference, discussions focused on the role of cultural tourism in destination development, as well as on the importance of cooperation between institutions, organizations, and local communities in creating authentic content based on rich cultural heritage and tradition.
The Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the development of cultural tourism, the promotion of cultural diversity, and the strengthening of ties between communities through the preservation and presentation of authentic stories and values that enrich the tourism offer of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
