A Leisurely Walk – September 27, 2025
The Fruška Gora Wine Walk combines the enjoyment of authentic Fruška Gora wines, beautiful nature, and the rich cultural heritage of Sremski Karlovci – a treasury of culture and tradition on the slopes of Fruška Gora. “Fruška Walk & Wine” is not just a walk – it is an experience for all the senses: a blend of wine landscapes, flavors, aromas, and stories that celebrate the tradition and passion of the region’s winemakers.
The starting point of the walk is in front of the Tourist Information Center of Sremski Karlovci, with departures organized every hour, starting at 11:00 a.m.
Before setting off, participants will collect their starter package at the Tourist Information Center of Sremski Karlovci, which includes a wine glass, a glass holder bag, a route map, the brochure “Wine Route of Fruška Gora”, tasting vouchers, and a souvenir gift. Groups will have a maximum of 50 participants, and the walk will be led by experienced guides who will share fascinating stories and facts about the wine tradition of this area.
Along the 7.1km circular walking route, visitors will have the opportunity to taste premium Fruška Gora wines at six tasting stops, as well as enjoy local specialties. A total of 19 wineries will be featured, introducing participants to the diversity and richness of the Fruška Gora wine region. The experience will be complemented by a carefully selected music program performed by outstanding musicians.
The route passes through the most beautiful parts of Sremski Karlovci, including the town’s baroque core, the Bishop’s Garden, and, of course, the Sremski Karlovci vineyards, offering participants the chance to experience the town in a unique way – with a glass of wine in hand.
At the end of the wine walk, visitors can return to the starting point – the Sremski Karlovci Tourist Information Center – where they will be able to purchase the wines they enjoyed the most during the walk.

In line with the nature of the program, the event is intended for adults only (18+).
For full enjoyment of the walk, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the route includes sections with gentle inclines.
The event is organized by the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, in cooperation with the Association of Grape and Wine Producers with a Designation of Geographical Origin “Srem–Fruška Gora”, with the support of the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci and the Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci.
