THE ORTHODOX CHURCH OF ST. BASIL OF OSTROG – Beočin
The base of the temple St. Vasilije Ostrog Wander Worker in Beočin were put in 2000. It was sanctified by The Archbishop of Srem Mr. Vasilije with the priest Božo Sovilj and the priest who is in charge for the church Teodor Katić and many priest of the Srem eparchy. During the 10 years while the priest Vujadin Savić in charged for the church it was built and finished, with the help of the believers of the village and the city, as well as the institutions which were very interested in finishing this temple. The holy day for the church is May, 12th the day of the St. Vasilije Ostrog`s Wander Worker.
