THE CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD – Irig
It was built between 1757. and 1760., and represents the typical example of Danube`s baroque. The icons were copied and were not painted all at the same time. The older parts are from 70s of XVIII century, while the final version of wall painting was given in the first half of the XX century. The painters were Georgije Bakalović, Jovan Klajić and Kosta Vangelović.
