“Surabaya” is an Indonesian-Chinese restaurant. It has seven tables with 52 seats. There is also a terrace with a pleasant natural ambience with a capacity of six tables with 32 seats. Since the Indonesians are mostly Muslims, they do not consume pork, but they are experts in preparing sea food, chicken with mushrooms and similar meals, as well as, the sauces that are a little bit different than Chinese. The also cook diverse meals made of rice and the best one is rice cooked on steam. The particular specialty of “Surabaya” restaurant is algae salad. Dries algae are brought from Budapest, where you can find specialized stores of ingredients, spices and sauces from Far East. Algae are boiled for couple of hours and, then, they are served heavily spiced. The restaurant has its own car-park in front of its entrance.
