ETHNO HOUSE “MAGDIN DOM” – Tornjoš

The Magdin Dom Ethno House was established in Tornjoš in 2016, thanks to the long-term efforts of Magda Sabo, a retired preschool teacher, in collecting historical artifacts. The rooms are arranged to reflect how they looked 100 years ago.

The authentically furnished spaces include a clean room, living room, kitchen, parlor, and pantry. All rooms are open to visitors, who can directly experience the lifestyle of the past, exploring traditional tools, household items, and decorative objects used by previous generations.

Various events and workshops give both young and older visitors the opportunity to try their hand at old crafts, as Aunt Magda preserves and practices many traditional skills that are now largely forgotten.
