EXHIBITION OF VOJVODINA MINIATURES

On September 29, 2021, at the residence of the Canadian ambassador in Belgrade, an exhibition “One Hundred Women – One Hundred Miniatures” was shown with the participation of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina.

The exhibition “One Hundred Women – One Hundred Miniatures” which is followed by a jury prize award is the only event of its kind in Serbia that gives women who are professionally engaged in handicrafts the opportunity to improve and compete in traditional techniques and thus preserve the cultural heritage of Serbia. It is organized following the example of events abroad, and the goal is to motivate women and young people who make authentic handicrafts to improve their skills, professionalize in respecting high standards in traditional techniques, and to receive monetary award and a recognition from the professional public and social recognition of their work. This year, the exhibition had a special focus on the motifs and heritage of Vojvodina.
