ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF ST GEORGE – Mol

The Roman Catholic churches in Ada and Mol are beautiful sacral structures with an interesting interior. The Roman Catholic Church in the pier was built in honor of St. George from 1804 to 1805, and was blessed by the 1825. It was expand in 1902. The main iconostasis is the work of art of Josef Von Kessler in Vienna from1882 .Four bells are located in the tower, the largest weighs 922 kg. Every year on 24 April the first church celebration on the occasion of St. George is held, and the second is held on September 29 if it is Sunday, if not, it is held the first week of October.
