DEBELJAČA LAKES – Debeljača

The complex Debeljača Lakes has been engaged in organizing of commercial fishing since 2000.A five-year reconstruction of the field has been undertaken to this days, thus the complex consists of five lakes, of which four are in the function of the commercial fishing, restaurant and parking. There competitions are organized throughout the year, for the old experienced anglers, beginners and juniors.
The Lake Three is three hectares in size . There are 22 fishing places or 10 places (box) when it comes to competitive fishing. The lake is of irregular shape, so is the bottom which is of clay and it is an advantage in fishing. The shores of the lake are covered with reed, while willows are planted at each fishing position to make shade during sunny days. On the lake there is a parking plot. On the front of the bank of the lake there is a fish restaurant Debeljača lake. The restaurant offers guests a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as food: fish soup, the famous Hungarian goulash, which is also the specialty of the house and grilled dishes at very affordable prices.
A sport fishing mode Catch and Release on the lake is also applied, and one can fish day and night. Professional carp competitions are being held on the lake. The Lake Three is stocked with big carps and there are 14 tons of carp fish and one ton of grass carp. The price of daily permit is 500 dinars.
Lake 3a is the size of 0.7 hectares and it has 30 fishing places. Reed belts are scattered both on the lake and also on the banks of the lake. The lake is very close to restaurant and parking as well. This lake is stocked with five tons of Prussian carp, one tone Carp weighing less than 4 kg, 500 kg Grass carp also weighing less 4 kg. For a daily permit in the amount of 500 dinars it is possible to bring an unlimited amount of caught Prussian carp, but a Carp under 4kg is payable according to the price list.
Lake 4 is assigned to recreational fishing by fishing envisaged regime. The size of the lake is five hectares and there are 58 fishing positions.
The lake is stocked with five tons of Prussian carp, two tons of Carps weighing less than 4 kg . Daily license is 1,000 dinars, and all that is caught can be taken away in unlimited quantities.
