FRUŠKA WALK AND WINE – Sremski Karlovci

The Fruška Gora Walk and Wine combines the enjoyment of authentic Fruška Gora wines, beautiful nature, and the rich cultural heritage of Sremski Karlovci – a treasury of culture and tradition on the slopes of Fruška Gora. “Fruška Walk & Wine” is not just a walk – it is an experience for all senses: a fusion of vineyard landscapes, tastes, aromas, and stories that celebrate the tradition and passion of the region’s winemakers.

The starting point of the walk is in front of the Tourism Organisation of Sremski Karlovci Info Centre, from where departures will be organised every hour, starting at 11:00 am.

Before departure, participants pick up their starting package at the Info Centre of the Tourism Organisation of Sremski Karlovci, which includes a wine glass, a glass pouch, a route map, tasting vouchers, and a gift souvenir. Groups will consist of a maximum of 50 participants, and the walk will be led by experienced guides sharing engaging stories and facts about the wine tradition of this region.

Along the circular walking route, visitors will have the opportunity to taste top-quality Fruška Gora wines at six tasting points, while also enjoying local specialties. Each station will feature three wineries, with 18 wineries in total, which will introduce participants to the diversity and richness of the Fruška Gora wine region. The experience will be further enriched by a suitable musical programme performed by outstanding musical artists.

The route leads through the most beautiful parts of Sremski Karlovci, including the baroque town centre, the Dvorska Bašta, and of course the Sremski Karlovci vineyards, providing participants with the opportunity to experience Sremski Karlovci in a special way with a glass of wine.

Upon completing the wine walk, visitors will be able to return to the starting point – the Info centre of the TO Sremski Karlovci – and purchase the wines they enjoyed the most during the walk.

In accordance with the character of the programme, the event is intended exclusively for adults (18+).

For full enjoyment of the walk, we recommend comfortable footwear, as the trail includes sections with gentle inclines.

The organiser of the event is the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina in cooperation with the Association of Grape and Wine Producers with the Geographical Indication “Srem-Fruška gora”, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism, the Municipality of Sremski Karlovci, and the Tourism Organisation of Sremski Karlovci.
