EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL – Palić

The Palić European Film Festival is currently one of the most prominent cultural events in Serbia, one of the leading film festivals in the region, and one of the few festivals in the world dedicated exclusively to European cinema.

The festival was founded by the City of Subotica, with the Open University Subotica serving as its executive producer. Recognized as an event of national importance, it is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Secretariat for Culture of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and the City Administration of Subotica.

The festival is dedicated to showcasing the finest achievements of contemporary European cinema while preserving the tradition of auteur and artistic filmmaking. Through its carefully curated programme, it contributes to the cultural life not only of the City of Subotica and the Republic of Serbia, but also of the wider region.
