The Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina conducted a working visit to Senta, during which discussions focused on current projects, opportunities for cooperation, future directions for tourism development in the municipality, as well as the rich and diverse tourism offer of this part of Vojvodina.
The visit began with a working meeting at the Tourist Information Centre of the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Senta, followed by a tour of the city’s most significant tourist attractions, including the City Hall, the Birth House of Stevan Sremac, the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel, the Tisa River waterfront, and the Memorial to the Battle of Senta. The programme also included visits to the Senta City Museum, the Synagogue, the Réel Chocolate Museum, and the “You Go” fashion brand, providing representatives of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina with an opportunity to learn more about different segments of the local tourism offer.
A special part of the visit was dedicated to gastronomy, with an introduction to authentic local specialities at the “Papula” restaurant, which represent an important part of the overall tourism experience in Senta. The working visit provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore possibilities for further cooperation and joint activities aimed at enhancing Senta’s tourism offer and strengthening its position within the wider tourism offer of Vojvodina.
