The theatre amateurs from Senta found the Chamber scene “Miroslav Antić” in 1986., and it is the base of cultural life on Serbian language in this town on Tisa river. At the beginning it worked in a Youth centre, and in 1990. it was registered as the institution on its own, and today it has grown to the theatre society which has about 60 active members who work in the assembles of all ages. The chamber scene has about four premieres a year which are played in Senta, in the near by villages and all around Vojvodina. It was very well accepted in “Duško Radović”, “Zvezdara Teatar”, “DADOV” and Theatre “Kult” in Belgrade, The National Theatre in Niš, “The Youth Theatre”, “INFANT” and “Novi Sad Theatre” in Novi Sad, the Serbian National Theatre in Banja Luka( the first amateur theatre which performed there in 1994., while there was still war in Republika Srpska), The University Theatre in Kiev ( Ukraine), in Deska, St. Andreja and Budapest ( Hungary), Trebinje, Jagodina, Gnjilane and other places. Regarding to the 10th anniversary the theatre published the book “They were lead by love” in the cooperation with the CAC “Slavija” from Novi Sad, where their work is described. For the 20th anniversary new book was published “The Chamber Scene “Miroslav Antić” from Senta” which is about everything that was done in that period.
