THE BUILDING OF CITY HALL – Senta

The building built in secessionist style is located on the main square and represents the most important component of the panorama of the city core and also the most impressive buildings in Senta. It was built between 1912 and 1914, designed by Frigyes Kovac, an architect from Budapest. The massive tower building prevails in regard to the city hall and rises about 50 meters above the city, providing stunning views of the city and its surroundings, decorated with motifs of Hungarian Art Nouveau. Inside the Town Hall is a masterpiece, gallery with unique decorative staircase and imposing parliamentary auditorium.
