AMERICAN CORNER – Novi Sad

The American Corner in Novi Sad was opened on October, 6th 2004. It allows access to valid and reliable information about the USA through the collection of books, internet and with the local programs for public. Sponsored by American Embassy , both The cultural Centers of American Corners in Belgrade and Novi Sad offer the information similar to those of the library. Multimedia, books and periodical collections are opened and available. There are also available readings and meetings with authors and different activities (author’s readings, smaller stands, work-shops, film projections, meetings and exhibitions). The American Corner consists of collection of books on English about the USA. The collection of books consists of recommended titles, works of fiction, business and Government publication. The American corner also provides access to the information about the USA with the access to the internet, audio and video products and CD-ROM’s. The access to the collection of The American Corner is free and opened for all the interested citizens.
