Manuals for Hospitality Services Presented at the Info Centre

On June 30, a press conference was held at the Info Centre of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, where manuals for providing hospitality services in rural tourism households, apartments, and guest care were presented.

The speakers at the conference included: acting director of the Tourist Organization of Vojvodina, Milivoj Kovačević; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism of AP Vojvodina, Slavoljub Arsenijević; as well as the author of the manuals, Dragana Marelj.

“Dragana’s manuals are an invaluable asset—something that helps and will continue to help future generations engaged in hospitality. These manuals can serve as strong motivation for everyone working in hospitality, not only in Srem but across Serbia, to start their own private business,” stated Mr. Kovačević.

Mr. Arsenijević addressed the audience with the following words:

“Dragana has recognized that there are certain needs in tourism of not only Vojvodina but in the whole country. Education is extremely important, and without education there is no space for development. Equally important are information and their accessibility. I would like to thank Dragana and wish her many more successful manuals and services.”

The author of the manuals also shared a few words:

“This is personally my dearest promotion. I would like to thank the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina for recognizing my dedication. The manuals are the result of many years of work and experience in tourism and hospitality. Guest needs are not only important – they should not only be met but exceeded. Without knowledge and people, there is no tourism.”

During the promotion, Dragana also took the opportunity to present the rural tourism household “Bundevica”, located in the village of Dobrinci.
