The Cultural and Information Center has borne the name “Lukijan Mušicki” since 2006. This poet—one of the most educated writers of his time, a polyglot, and archimandrite of the Šišatovac Monastery—was born in Temerin on January 27, 1777, where he also attended primary school.
The Center is a hub for cultural development and information. It features a modern theater and cinema hall with 320 seats, a contemporary gallery, and spacious foyers. In less than two years, it hosted hundreds of events, including theater and film performances, showcases of cultural and artistic creativity, major exhibitions, congresses, and assembly sessions.
The KIC “Lukijan Mušicki” also includes Radio Temerin, which celebrated 40 years of successful operation in 2011. Its full-day program is broadcast in Serbian and Hungarian on the frequency 93.5 MHz.
