Sač Cooking Festival – Stražilovo

This festival is being held for the 12th time on Stražilovo and brings together teams from the region that preserve the tradition of preparing dishes under the “sač” (a traditional bell-shaped cooking lid).

In addition to lamb, participants will also compete, as they did last year, in preparing pies baked under the sač.

In the natural setting of Fruška Gora, surrounded by fire, aromas, and the slow rhythm of cooking, teams will prepare authentic dishes, while a professional jury will evaluate technique, taste, and overall impression.

The event is intended for all lovers of good food and socializing in nature, offering an atmosphere that can only be experienced at gatherings of this kind.
