In cooperation with the Church Municipality of Čurug, primary school and Local community of Čurug, on the first day of Christmas, a traditional Vertep is held, which is prepared by students with their religious teachers and other teachers. Around hundreds of children is taking part in the traditional carrying of Vertep from the parish church to the Ascension Church, where the performance takes place.
