The latest statistical data of the Statistical Office of the Republic for the first eight months of 2022 show an upward trend in tourist traffic on the territory of the Province. Namely, in the first eight months of this year, AP Vojvodina was visited by 450,432 tourists, which is an increase of 62% compared to the same period of the previous year and an increase of 23.57% compared to the same period of the record year 2019. In the first eight months of 2022, 234,563 domestic tourists visited Vojvodina, which is an increase of 25.9% compared to the first eight months of the previous year. In the same period, the number of foreign tourist arrivals was 215,869, which is an increase of as much as 135.3% compared to the first eight months of 2021.

In the territory of Vojvodina, in the period from January to august 2022, there were  1,272,424 overnight stays which is an increase of 29.4% compared to the same period in the previous year and an increase of 41.7% compared to January 2019.  Domestic tourists had 661,427 overnight stays (an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period of the previous year), while foreign tourists had 610,997 overnight stays (an increase of 65.1% compared to the same period of the previous year).

For the first eight months of 2022, Novi Sad recorded 136,904 arrivals (an increase of 78.6%) and 364,040 tourist overnight stays (an increase of 17.1%). In Subotica, there were 111,902 arrivals (an increase of 109%) and 264,014 tourist overnight stays (an increase of 83.6%).

For the first eight months of this year, the Info Center of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina was mostly visited by tourists from Germany, France, Russia, Slovenia, Croatia, the USA, Turkey, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, and Hungary. In August, a larger increase in the number of tourists from France was recorded.
