The church was originally constructed in the Byzantine style and it was built in 1728. It was consecrated by the Bishop of Krušedol- Nikanor. The new church was erected in 1827and it was completed in 1829. This is a single-nave building with semi-circular altar apse on the east side and a bell tower that rises above the western part of the church. The carving of the iconostasis is the work of an unknown artist of the second half of the eighteenth century, with the baroque elements, and for its architectural structure is of the multi-story altar partition. The church was in a very poor condition, therefore forthcoming reconstruction is being planned.
