The building of the church started in 1847., and finished in 1858., and carries the classicism style characteristics. In the base it is the one nave building, of simple architecture and without plastic decoration. On the front is the entrance marked with shallow pillaters which occur on the very edges, as well as on the side facade of the object. The windows are put very high and finished with segmented curve. The belfry of the square base with its lower part cuts the kettledrum, and the edges are marked with the pilasters as well. On the four side there are watches, and above them are big holes covered with blinds of segmental ending. The cupola tent shaped lies on a plane wreath of belfry. The altar blade on the main altar “St. Đorđe”, is the work of Bertalan Sekelji, oil on canvas (400x200cm). On the side altar is the painting “St. Ana Teaches the mother of God”, the work of Tano Moro from 1866, oil on canvas (150x70cm), (sign.d.d. Tan Mor Ferenc 1866). Mor Tan ( Bečej 1828- Trst, 1899), by was studying the law but privately he was attending the atelier of Mikloš Barabaš. He activelly entered the revolution in 1848. He painted the scenes in Vojvodinian village life and fights of that time. The remaining works witness about the painter of historical compositions and the paintings of religious contents which he did during all his life.
