THE NATIONAL LIBRARY "DJURA JAKŠIĆ" - Srpska Crnja

The community`s institution of culture the National library “Đura Jakšić” was found in 1964. The central library is situated in Srpska Crnja and has 33.000 books in its fund: 17.000 in Srpska Crnja, 8.000 in Aleksandrovo, 4.000 in Vojvoda Stepa and 4.000 in Radojevo. It does the library activities, organizes the literature meetings, exhibitions and organizes the cultural manifestation “Đura Jakšić Days” which are held in Srpska Crnja, regularly since 1962.
