It was built in 1806., on the place where previously was the church building in 1745. It was sketched in the classical shape with the usual organization of the space and poorly decorated facade. The west front, with the high belfry, is beautifully harmonized to façade, which was made in the combination of shallow four-square and somehow deeper niches. The most significant art value has the iconostasis brought from some other church, which can be seen by the shortenings which are made for the iconostasis to fit this new, smaller temple. It was painted in 1752 by Arad painter Stefan Tenecki and this was his earliest documented art work. In this area still traditionally connected to Zograf painting school, Tenecki accepted style shapes of upcoming baroque, which came on a round trip from Kijev. That is how he was one of the first artists in this area to leave the dictation of Byzantium art school, and turned himself to the western model. The influence of the new painting works is the most visible on the paintings of the Mother of God and St. Nikola. The perfect work on drapery, the precise drawing with the obvious knowledge of anatomy and perfect colors, represent in the Vilovo church, Tenecki as the mature artist. The conservation work was done in 1979.
