The church is one nave building, placed with it’s west fasade on the regulated line of the street, while the fence of the church yard is moved to the road for about 5-6 meters from the regulated line. The constructional structure is made of supporting walls and half-circled arcs where are naves. On the west is high bell tower. The church is of simple decoration, without special style characteristics. Decoration consists of shallow niches, half-circled finished where is one window in each, pilasters, under-roof wreath, gable with kettledrum and little curved walls which connect gable with the tower, of very simple decoration and it reminds on baroque style.
According to new researches iconostasis in the orthodox church in Bodra was painted by Todor Popović, fresco painter of Bečkerek painting family Popović, until recent researches completely unknown and descovered. By this work he was represented as the artist of big importance and part in the development of Serbian painters, specially in XVIII century in Vojvodina. The same significance have also gilded and engraved ornaments around the painted surfaces and baroque- rocai stilization whose author is unknown. The iconostasis was painted in 1778. The note about that and the moving of iconostasis from the older church in this one in 1874., as well as about it's reconstruction in 1904., is placed on the emperor entrance to the church.
