Organized by the city of Zrenjanin, the Tourist Organization of Zrenjanin, the Cultural Center of Zrenjanin, and the Youth Office, the traditional event "New Year's Magic - City of Open Hearts" will be held in the Liberty Square in Zrenjanin, a festive program to celebrate the New Year holidays.

The central city square, Liberty Square, has been transformed into a Christmas village, with gates, houses, Christmas trees, benches with mistletoe and photo-friendly locations, where a sales exhibition of homemade products has been organized since December 15th, as well as the daily sales of hot drinks and fast food, such as Lángos, tea, mulled wine and hot chocolate with appropriate music coming from the loudspeaker. Five burners (donation from PerSu company) with wooden logs for seating.

The celebration starts on Friday, December 30th, at 5 p.m., as a New Year's overture in the form of a Children's Charity New Year's Fair and a sports dance challenge.

The program for young people organized by the Youth Office will begin at 8 p.m., when DJs and dance groups will alternate performances on the central stage at Liberty Square:

The celebration continues on 31st December exactly at noon, when the New Year's program "City of Open Heart" begins, featuring City Children's Choir, Inclusive Choir 9^th of May, Fairy( Vila) and Little Red Riding Hood (Crvenkapa) Choir, Dreamers (Sanjalice) Choir, Cultural Arts Association Moja Sosa, Center for preservation of traditional culture Đerđef, Cultural Arts Association Pionir, GPK Free dance, Zrenjanin Game Center, Petrovgrad Majorettes, Music Studio Eutarpa, Babyroad Studio and CEKOM - Center for Creative Youth Development. 

The program will be enriched with an exhibition of pets.

 All the youngest ones will be treated to gifts and sweets that Santa Claus will give them! (Sponsored by PerSu)

The city of Zrenjanin has announced a competition "Draw a New Year's card of the city of Zrenjanin" - a competition for children for preschool age and school children up to 10 years old to select the most beautiful card. The winner will be announced on December 31^st.

 In the evening, more precisely from 10:30 p.m., a concert by local groups begins: Francuska sobarica, Uroš and nejaki, Jimi Hendrix tribute band Elecrtic Universe.

At midnight, a spectacular fireworks display awaits those who decide to welcome the New Year 2023 outdoors!
