At the Info Center of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, an Info Day was held to promote of the official start of the standardization and certification of pet-friendly services on the territory of the APV, which is carried out by the expert team of Pet Travel Advisor with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism.
A study is being prepared that will explain in more detail the standards, legal frameworks and certification process by which the Pet Travel Advisor expert team wants to improve and protect the business of hoteliers and restaurateurs who decide to accept guests with pets. They also wish to connect local communities and providers of various services to tourists with pets, both for better destination offers and for additional earning opportunities.
Speakers at the event included Nenad Ivanišević PhD, Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, Nataša Pavlović PhD, Director of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina Andrea Mladin, Director of the PTA Solutions and representative of the Pet Travel Advisor project.
The Info Center of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina has officially received a Pet-friendly sticker.
