According to the official data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, for the first seven months of this year, AP Vojvodina was visited by a total of 376,987 tourists, which is an increase of 69.9% compared to the same period in 2021. The number of domestic tourists was 200,167, which is an increase of 30.9%, while the number of foreign tourists was 176,820, which represents an increase of 156.1% compared to the first seven months of the previous year. In the first seven months of this year, a total of 1,047,866 overnight stays were realized, which represents an increase of 34.6% compared to the same period last year. The number of overnight stays by domestic tourists increased by 11% (538,015 overnight stays), while the number of overnight stays by foreign tourists increased by as much as 73.7% (509,851 overnight stays). Therefore, the realized number of overnight stays by foreign tourists almost equaled the realized number of overnight stays by domestic tourists, which certainly speaks in favor of the fact that the tourism offering of the Province is attractive to foreign visitors. Numerous promotional activities of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina and local tourism organizations are one of the reasons for the increase in the number of foreign visitors. The Days of Vojvodina event is of great importance when it comes to foreign visitors, precisely because of the direct contact with potential visitors. Since the beginning of the year, this event has so far been held in Budapest, Trebinje, Bijeljina, Banja Luka and Timisoara.

The most visited cities in the first seven months of this year were Novi Sad and Subotica. In Novi Sad, there was an increase in the number of arrivals by 89.7%, domestic tourists by 49.9% and foreign tourists by 130.4% compared to the first seven months of the previous year. In Subotica, there was an increase in the total number of tourists by 118.8%, domestic by 40% and foreign tourists by as much as 266.8% compared to the same period in 2021. In Sombor, the increase in the number of foreign tourists for the first seven months of 2022 is 150.7%, while in Vršac an increase of as much as 235.7% was recorded compared to the same period of the previous year. In Novi Sad and Subotica, the number of foreign tourist arrivals exceeded the number of domestic tourist arrivals.

The most visited spa in Vojvodina was Vrdnik with a total increase in the number of arrivals by 25%, domestic tourists by 24.8% and foreign tourists by 119% compared to the same period last year.

The Info Center of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina for the first seven months of 2022 was mostly visited by tourists from Germany, Slovenia, Russia, Croatia, Turkey and India in addition to domestic tourists. An increase in tourists from non-European countries such as the USA, Australia, China and Brazil was also noticed.
