Within many noble houses in Cara Dušana street, there is an average building of the Franciscan monastery. That building was given to the Franciscans in 1942. by Leh Matija, the  priest from Gajdobra, and there was built a chapel dedicated to St. Ivan Kapistranski. When he was 70 years old, he was the Franciscans priest, and he fought angrily against Turks while they were attacking Belgrade in 1456., beside the legendary Janoš Hunjadi.

The lovely church, hidden in the secular look of the noble house, has valuable stain glass windows which were painted with cubistic point of view by the artist from Pečuj signed as Tallian. Altar picture of St. Ivan Kapistran made an artist signed as Parobek in 1943. In the church there are typical surveys for catholic church, about route of Christ’s tortures, which were engraved in wood, in 16 scenes by Berec Ferenc, former priest and sculptor.
