FISHING ON DANUBE RIVER AT NESTIN

Green sandbar as well as the island having strange name – Govneš are very famous in this area. This part of the Danube is a well-known fishing ground for catching perch, catfish and carp fish species that are commonly found in the main stream of the river or in small meanders and backwaters of the Danube, of which Neštin and Susek part of the Danube are well –known. They are also known as essential carp spawning. In the Danube ,float fishing is used to catch successfully ide and barbel and in small ponds, carp and bream. Not far from Susek part of the Danube there is carp pond farming in which commercial fishing is allowed.
