The international tourism fair Ferien-Messe attracted numerous tourists from Austria and abroad from March 16 to 19, 2023. With almost 70,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors from 80 countries, the Ferien-Messe is the largest holiday, travel and leisure fair in Austria. After a forced break due to the corona virus, Austria's largest trade fair for vacations, travel, leisure and recreation celebrated an extremely successful return. Even on the first day, the number of visitors and interest was huge. Despite global political uncertainty, inflation and rising prices, tourists have not lost their desire to travel. Various presentations, competitions, lectures, screenings of travel films, as well as tastings of culinary specialties from around the world were held at the fair.
The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina presented the tourism offering of the province together with tourism organizations: Pančevo, Irig, Sombor, Subotica, Stara Pazova, Nova Crnja, Novi Sad, Serbia. In addition to tourism organizations, the following tourism entities also presented their tourism offering: Pupin Hotel, Fruske Terme MOVENPICK Resort and SPA, Deliblatska Peščara Cluster, Dunavska Obala Public Company from Apatin, Hotel Falkensteiner and Pinkum Turistik. In addition to the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, the main exhibitors were: the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and Ports Agency.
Visitors were informed about the offer of the Province through promotional material and a promotional film. Austrian tourists were mostly attracted by offers related to active vacations, cycle tourism, gastronomy and the cultural heritage of Vojvodina.
