The first tennis court in Sombor was built in 1895. in the park near the Rectory. On the location of TC “Žak”, the first three courts were built in 1905. The most famous tennis player of that time was Ivan Radović, Yugoslavian Davis Cup player.
There are nine tennis courts on clay.
