A large complex of riparian forests of the Danube river is an ideal terrain for the development and survival of many species of furry and feathered wildlife. Special nature reserve “Gornje Podunavlje” is a habitat for marsh deer and wild boar. Large game: deer, wild boar, mouflon, and doe deer,deer ungulate. Small game: a rabbit and of game birds – pheasant, quail and mallard.
The hunting ground “Kozara” is managed by the Forest company “Sombor” and organizes a wild boar hunting both for individuals and groups as well. They offer a range of ancillary services: provide escorts for hunting, carriage rides upon a request, accommodation for dogs and others. They also perform complete administrative and customs regulations. They meet and farewell guests when coming and leaving the country, and, what is most important, the number of game and high quality trophies guarantee a successful and attractive hunting days.
Hunting ground “Kozara” is located near Sombor, on the left bank of the Danube, on the border between Serbia, Hungary and Croatian. It occupies an area of 11,764 hectares and is rich in deer, wild boar, roe deer. In this hunting area, a capital deer with trophy value 248,55 CIC points was harvested and was the world champion for 20 years. Lodging and meals are provided in a luxurious hunting lodge “Štrbac”. The accommodation capacity of the villa includes 2 suites and 4 double rooms with private bath.
