Slovak Evangelical church in Padina is the monumental building that dominates in Padina. It is set on the slight hill and it was built in 1839 according to the designs of the architect Bartolomeo Haneke who personally supervised the construction of the temple. In 1841 the temple was consecrated. The interior of the church is pure white with no ornaments, and the only painting is an oil on canvas installed in the altar of the church, painted by the painter Adam Poničan. The painting was consecrated in 1965. It represents Jesus knocking on the door of the human heart. Apart from ministering there are also a number of concerts of classical music being held in the church.
