RESTAURANT "KAFANICA" - Novi Sad

"Kafanica" (Small Inn) is a restaurant of a national cuisine. It was opened in 1999 in order to provide a nice and pleasant place for the citizens of Novi Sad, where there is only one rule "absolute relaxation". Originally a café, "Kafanica" has turned into a very good restaurant. In an agreeable ambience with relaxed and homely atmosphere, a guest can have a good drink accompanied by a carefully chosen music. We mostly prepare Vojvodina’s dishes, but there are also international specialties. A menu is based on table d’hôte: broth, fish dishes, meat dishes, salads and desserts. Every day, the specialties are prepared of fresh and quality ingredients. The restaurant can attend approximately 60 guests in the ambience where mostly wood and natural materials prevail with the enchanting scent of vegetables. An alluring, huge, eye-catching bar is situated in the centre of the restaurant. Srdjan, a smiling host and owner, warmly welcomes all his guests and offers them his best products. If a host is a good restaurateur, the guests feel comfortable in his restaurant. Each course of the menu is authentic, delicious and interesting and you will long remember its aroma and taste. "Kafanica" is a true place for the gourmands and those who like good meals. Nothing "light" is served in this restaurant, not even Coca-cola.
