Monument to the Battle of Senta was designed on the occasion of the visit of Franz Joseph I in 1895, who came to the military parade which was held on the banks of the Tisza, namely to the spot of the battle in Senta that occurred in 1697. For the 300th anniversary of the battle memorial complex was expanded and decorated.

The statue of St. John of Nepomuk (work of art of Ištvan Tota, a sculptor) was set up in 1914 on its present location near the entrance to Senta bridge.

The second statue, which shows the whole figure, is Ferryman (work of art of Šandor Dudaš) and is located on the Quay on the banks of the Tisza. The statue was displayed in 2006, by the presidents of Serbia and Hungary, which symbolically shows the connection of the two banks of the river, two people and two countries , as well.

Opposite this statue is a bust of the famous Serbian writer, Stevan Sremac, who was born in Senta. On the quay on the bank of the Tisza is also a bust of the founder of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad and Belgrade, Serbian anthem author, Jovan Djordjevic, who was also born in Senta.

Inside the town, in front of the Health Center, the memory of the former synagogue is kept by the monument in the form of a Star of David which was on this spot from 1874 to 1959. Nearby the bridgehead of Senta bridge on the Tisa, a monument to the lancers executed in 1944 was posted in November 2007.
