Located in the southwestern part of Bačka the famous stud farm Karadjordjevo is established as yet in 1885. In the beginning Nonius breed horses were bred on this stud farm. Today, next to them, Lipizzan and English thoroughbred horses have been breed. Visitors can enjoy horseback riding and carriage rides through the beautiful nature around the stud or a trip to the museum of horsemanship. Within the stud farm there is a riding club, which traditionally held horse races.
It is opened in 1983. In it, there are cups that the horses have won in the past few decades. The most important exhibits are the sleigh and carriage from the Tito period, photographs of comes galloper and hurdler horses as well as photos in which the visit of our delegation to the British Queen Elizabeth is recorded, the horse registry at the beginning of the last century, as well as the guest book, which is assumed to be the oldest in our country (opened in 1927).
