HAM - Dried back of pork neck, bacon, with three fingers of bacon and a lot of meat, is a symbol of Vojvodina’s tastiest bites. Ham is prepared in November and December at pig slaughter and then specifically cut, smoked, and dried. It is served to guests and family members from Easter on until there is some left!
The Festival of ham and prosciutto - Sunka Fest – is held every year on the second weekend of June in Stari Banovci, Municipality of Stara Pazova, near Belgrade.
