8th Gourmet Competition in Preparing Beef Tails – Čenej

For eight years now, this traditional international event—the Gourmet Competition in Preparing Beef Tails—has been held. As in previous editions, the number of teams is limited to 25. Regular participants include friends from Serbia and the region, and this year guests from Spain are also expected, where this dish is considered a national specialty.

The organizer provides 4 kg of beef tails, a beer set (a table and two benches), bread, and sponsor gifts.

Cooking takes place in a kettle or a similar pot, exclusively using gas (gas cylinders and burners are provided for international guests). The cooking time is up to 4 hours.
