CULTURAL CENTER "BAČKA PALANKA" - Bačka Palanka

The Bačka Palanka Cultural Center was founded as a professional cultural institution of special social significance and interest. Exhibitions, cinema and theater performances, performances for children, festivals, concerts, literary events and fine arts activities, museum activities, promoting creativity and ideas, education and professional training, publishing promotional materials and catalogs, are recognizable activities to mark the Cultural Center.

Events organized by the Cultural Center are: To the Rhythm of Europe, the Festival Opened Stage, Jazz & amp; Blues Fest, the Festival of Demo Bands, the Danube ball.

Movie theater

Film screenings are held six days a week with two daily performances and Thursday is reserved for other elements that are not negligible: theater performances, presentations, public discussions, formal sessions ,shows, concerts, festivals and other events make this hall the busiest ceremonial hall in the city.

GALLERY

Paintings by local artists are exhibited in the gallery. Gallery presents a great chamber concert venue as well which has been proved by concerts and seminars of classical harp and guitar.

Centre for Constant Education

Center for Constant Education is a part of the Bačka Palanka Cultural Center. All activities of the center can be divided into three segments. The first segment concerns organizing foreign languages courses ​​for all ages and levels of knowledge. These include English, Spanish, French language. The second segment is a primary school for adult education. Centre for Education permanently cooperates with Sombor elementary school. In the third part of the segment for professional training courses realized as well as the vocational trainings for typists, clerks, hairdressers and other professions.
