The Cultural and Information Center in Temerin was named Lukjian Mušicki in 2006. This poet, one of the most educated writers of that time, a polyglot, Archimandrite of the Monastery Šišatovac, was born in Temerin on 27th January 1777, where he attended a primary school. The Cultural and Information Center is responsible for the development of culture and information. It has a modern theater and cinema hall with 320 seats, a contemporary gallery and halls. In less than two years, hundreds of different events have been organized: plays, film shows, cultural and artistic creativity festivals, representative exhibitions, congresses and parliamentary sessions. Radio Temerin which celebrated 40 years of successful work in 2011 is the constituent part of The Cultural and Information Center "Lucian Mušicki". Full-day program in Serbian and Hungarian language is being broadcasted on the frequency 93.5 MHz.
