CONFECTIONARY "ŠEHEREZADA" - Novi Bečej

On the arrival of Isai Isa in Novi Becej in 1966, the development of a confectionery started. Due to its quality offer, the confectionery has gained a great number of customers. Baklava, whipped cream pie and coffee are highly esteemed, while ice cream is probably the best in the town. Safet Hasani, Isa’s younger brother who has been working and learning from him, deserves great credit for this. In 1977 they bought the part of the house of Amalija Pulai in the main street and, since then, the confectionery has been working under the equal partnership of the brothers.

After 10 years of successful work, they bought another facility in 1987 (7 Marsala Tita Street), which was completely renovated. It has become one of the most attractive premises in Novi Becej. There is a spacious covered terrace that enables socializing of the people while having our pleasant beverages and various cups. Safet’s son Senad has also learned the craft and since 2000 he has been running the confectionery. Thanks to the 40 tears long tradition, the confectionery has preserved the quality and the reputation, which our fellow citizens from Novi Becej can confirm.
