The exhibition of the Local History Museum of Čerević, founded in 1980, has a concept to present the historical and cultural heritage of the town to visitors, as well as to single out the prominent residents, who affirmed their connection to this native land through their life paths, or through their artistic talent. The exhibited pieces: art canvas, sculptures, manuscripts, photographs, as well as other exhibits are sorted out in separate entities. There are separately exhibited the manuscript legacy of a poet Jovan Grčić Milenko and the legacy of a sculpture Jovan Soldatović. The comprehensive exhibition within the Museum represents the chronological growth of Čerević. At the same time it also represents some of the prominent individuals of Čerević, based on the kept old sources, as well as the individuals from the period between the wars and during The National Liberation War. Together with this exhibition there is also a collection of fossil fauna, exhibited as a separate entity, together with the excavations from the locality Čerević. The exhibits testify about the environment, which followed many historical and political pretences and which followed many political currents. The history of Čerević and the stories about lives of its inhabitants are also told by the faded, almost gossamer-fragile pages of exhibited newsletters, periodicals, letters and other sacrileges. All of them contain authentic stories connected to the pace of Čerević through time, to different events and activities of many figures.
